Paddy Systems LTD (“we”, “I”) is the data controller for personal data collected through paddy.systems. This page explains what is collected, why, and what you can do about it.

What is collected

  • Enquiry form. Your name, email address, and optionally company, budget and a description of your project.
  • Client portal. If you are a client, your name, email address, a hashed password, and the project records associated with your organisation.
  • Server logs. Standard request logs including IP address and user agent, retained for security and diagnostics.

What is not collected

No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics that track you across sites, and no behavioural profiling. The only cookie set is the session cookie required for the client portal, and it is only set once you sign in.

Why it is processed

Enquiry data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest — you asked us to get in touch — and is used only to reply to you. Portal data is processed to perform our contract with you. Logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

How long it is kept

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: 12 months.
  • Client and project records: for the duration of the engagement and 6 years afterwards, to meet UK accounting requirements.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

Where it is stored

Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the London (eu-west-2) region. Documents are stored in a private, versioned S3 bucket and are only ever served via short-lived signed URLs after an authorisation check.

  • Cloudflare — DNS

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or ask for it to be exported. Email hello@paddy.systems and I will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
